About Script:

A Plus Bill is an online invoicing, billing and client management system with online help desk and auto billing capability via cron jobs(in linux) and Scheduled Tasks (in windows). It includes a user-friendly backend to keep track of clients and repeated charges. It is created for web hosting companies, ISP providers, general invoicing, and customer management. Admin can search, add, edit, and delete clients, client files, and invoices. When creating a new invoice, admin can email a copy of invoice to customer. With Built in Mailing list, admin can send bulk-mails or newsletters to all or selected customers. Client may search their own activities and view or print due and paid invoices.

Admin features:
  • Accounts: View, update, edit, and delete active accounts, due accounts, Inactive accounts, and pending accounts. Add new accounts, overview accounts' totals and subscriptions' totals. For each account, view purchase reports, total invoices, and total amounts for current and the previous year, view details and pay or delete due invoices, view details and mark not paid or delete invoices, add or delete credit/debit for account and send e-mail to the client.
  • Admin: Change password, change number of records per page, update database, setup fee charge for subscription, save client billing information and setup Pay Pal payment.
  • Billing: Lists number of due subscriptions, due reminder notices to be sent, and past due invoices (if cron tab is not set). Then click on the link, which will run auto billing engine manually to generate and send due reminder notice 2 - 26 days before date due. For due subscriptions, it generates new invoices and posts to due accounts, then e-mails a copy to client and admin. (If you have cron job setup you do not need to run auto billing manually, depending on setup time, auto billing engine will run by cron job.)
  • Credit List: View all the accounts which has credit.
  • Log in: Log in with user name and password or retrieve your password.
  • Help Desk: View all open, closed, and resolved support tickets, then reply, reopen, save, or delete any of support tickets. When replying or reopening a ticket, an e-mail with the whole ticket and a link is sent to the client.
  • Products: View all products list, then add new product, edit or delete existing products. (subscription products, non subscription products and add-on products).
  • Sales: View total invoices and total sales amount for current and previous year with the totals for each month of the year, also view total numbers and total amounts sold for each product.
  • News, FAQ and To Do database: Enables admin to add or delete news letters and FAQ in a database to be viewed by clients, and ablity to edit and make slected FAQ as sticky. In To Do view, add, edit or delete the To Do list and add To Do list for admin or staffs.
  • Expense: Enables admin to add or delete expense in a database and view or print expense reports for current and previous year buy categories and month.
  • Pay Pal Payment integration Setup: Allows clients to pay for new purchases and due bills by Pay Pal. (optional)
  • Pay Pal Recurring Payment Setup: Allow clients to setup recurring payment for new and existing subscriptions. (optional)
  • Authorize net Payment integration Setup (SIM): Allows clients to pay for new purchases and due bills by Authorize net (optional)
  • Nochex Payment integration setup: Allows clients to pay for new purchases and due bills by Nochex. (optional)
  • World Pay Payment integration setup: Allows clients to pay for new purchases and due bills by World Pay. (optional)
  • Pay By Check Payment integration setup: Allows clients to pay for new purchases and due bills by Pay By Check. (optional)
  • 2checkout Payment integration Setup: Allows clients to pay for new purchases and due bills by 2checkout. (optional)
  • Custom Payment integration Setup: Allows the user to setup a custom payment. (optional).
  • Setup Tax Charge: Based on client, country and product.(optional)
  • Setup Discount: Based on billing cycle to give discount for subscription products. (optional)
  • Header and Footer html files: Enables the users to add their own header and footer.(one in each folder)
  • Display Currency: Symbols ($, , , ) in the billing system and currency code (USD, GBP, EUR, JPY) in the e-mails. (Optional).
  • Ability to stop e-mailing, Payment Due and Late Payment Notice to a client. (Optional)
  • Add staffs: Enables admin to add staffs with optional limited access to billing admin.
  • Spam Filter: enables admin to add spam filter for new support tickets and new accounts, to filter name, user name, subject, e-mail, domain and remote IPs.
  • Log Records: Enables admin to view clients and staffs log records for last x days (under sales link).

  • Activities: Will tabulate all due or paid invoices in rows. Click on any listed item to display the actual invoice with details.
  • Change password: Allows clients to change their password.
  • Log in: Allows clients to login with their user name and password or retrieve password.

  • Print invoice: Allows clients to print any selected invoice.
  • Profile: Allows clients to view or update their personal file
  • Report: Clients can view total purchases for current and previous year.

  • Request update or cancellation: Enable clients to submit update or cancellation request for subscriptions .
  • News and FAQ: Allows clients to view news letters and FAQ list.

  • Pay Bills: If payment option is selected and setup by admin, allows clients to pay for new purchases and due bills by selected payment option. Payment must be posted by admin to the client account.
  • Pay Pal Recurring Payment Setup: Allow clients to setup recurring payment for new and existing subscriptions. (optional)
  • Bilingual interface: Enables client to browse myaccount, order, and support in any two languages. You need to translate language files (optimal).

Systems Requirements:
  • MySql database.
  • PHP 4.1 or higher and gd library
  • Apache web server.
  • Java script enabled browser.
  • Linux or Windows server.

    2. Create a database In MySQL section of your web server control panel, and name billing or any other name with a username and password.
    3. Edit the config.php file for your database connection parameters, log in information, and preferences.
    4. Create a directory accessible to your web server and copy the aplusbill archive there.
    5. Point your browser to: http://www.yourdomainname.com/billing/setup.php (click to this link to view and run demo setup) Congratulation! You are done.
  • Setup cron Job (cron Tab).To run the auto billing engine you need to setup cron job. Log in to your control panel, find cron job then click on, you will have to option to setup cron tab, (view demos: Standard Setup or Advanced  setup.) Click either one then setup your cron job. (This is the general form of cron tab setting. If your server admin has blocked get commend, general form of cron tab setting will not work, you need to contact your server admin to find out the correct cron tab commend line for php script in your server.)
